Tom has managed strategic communications efforts for high-profile leaders and organizations across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors for over 25 years. He specializes in strategic planning, crisis communications and public affairs.

Prior to joining 193, he was Senior Advisor for Public Affairs at the United States Department of Justice. Tom was a founding member of the global CEO advisory firm, Teneo, where he spent four years as Managing Director.

Tom also served as Chief of Staff to both a United States Senator and the Governor of New Jersey, as a Special Assistant to the President of the United States, and as America’s chief spokesman at the United Nations.
